Cancellation & Refund Policy - Chal Mere Saathi

For international & domestic travellers: We are committed to clarity and fairness. This policy outlines all cancellation and refund terms so you can book with confidence.

Cancellation by Traveller

100% Refund More than 14 days before departure — Full refund of the total trip amount.
75% Refund 7 to 14 days before departure — 75% refund of the total trip amount.
50% Refund 4 to 7 days before departure — 50% refund of the total trip amount.
No Refund Less than 72 hours before departure — No refund applicable.
No Refund No-show on departure day — No refund.

Cancellation by Chal Mere Saathi

In rare situations where a trip is cancelled by us due to unavoidable circumstances (weather, safety concerns, minimum group size, or operational issues), travellers will be offered:

Option AA full refund of the amount paid.
Option BAn option to reschedule to another available trip.

Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days.
Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
Payment gateway or bank charges (if any) are non-refundable.
Refunds are not applicable for unused services or early departure from the trip.

Terms & Conditions

Booking & Payment

Full or partial payment is required to confirm your booking. A booking is considered confirmed only after a payment receipt is shared by Chal Mere Saathi.

Transportation

Transportation will be provided via Volvo / Luxury Bus / Tempo Traveller, depending on group size and availability. Travellers must reach the boarding point at least 30 minutes before departure. Chal Mere Saathi is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or road conditions. No refund will be provided for missed boarding due to late arrival.

Itinerary Changes

Trip itineraries may be modified due to weather, road conditions, local regulations, or safety considerations. Any changes will be communicated promptly and alternative arrangements will be provided where possible.

Accommodation

Accommodation will be provided on a shared basis unless otherwise specified. Hotel allocation is subject to availability; similar category hotels may be arranged if required.

Traveller Responsibility

Travellers are responsible for their personal belongings. Chal Mere Saathi is not liable for loss, theft, or damage of personal items. Any medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.

Conduct & Safety

Respectful behaviour towards fellow travellers, trip leaders, drivers, and locals is mandatory. Misconduct or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the trip without a refund.

Adventure Activities

Participation in adventure or outdoor activities is voluntary and at the traveller's own risk. Chal Mere Saathi is not responsible for injuries caused during such activities.

Force Majeure

Chal Mere Saathi shall not be held responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or pandemics.

Jurisdiction

All disputes are subject to Delhi NCR jurisdiction only.
